Description

A great hunt to get the mule deer buck of your dreams! This is an exclusive opportunity to hunt extremely well managed deer on private land in South Dakota. Hunter can expect to see deer ranging 160"-180" B&C. This is a 3 day fully guided 1:1 hunt. Hunter will be hunting during the rut, bringing out the largest deer in the area as they look for does. Options to add additional hunting days, select your hunting dates, and/or to bring a non-hunter observer. Hunter has a 50% chance to draw with 0 points. 2 points is currently a guaranteed draw.

Hunter should be prepared to shoot out to 300 yards. All shooting skills may be used-shooting sticks, prone, kneeling, etc.

        Refund Policy:

        Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

Lodging will be provided by the outfitter as a local motel or an Air BnB in the area. All meals will be provided. Options to add additional hunting days, select your hunting dates, and/or to bring a non-hunter observer.

        Meals will be provided by a camp chef or outfitter will take hunters for meals at local restaurants. Field lunches will be provided.

        Light hiking will be required for this hunt. This is a spot and stalk hunt. Glassing will be done from different vantage points on the ranch and then plans for a stalk will be made. Hunter can expect 1-3 miles of hiking a day on relatively easy terrain.


        Transportation (To/From Basecamp)

        Final destination city is Pierre, South Dakota. Outfitter will pick up and drop off clients from local airport. Hunter may also choose to fly to Rapid City, South Dakota but a rental car will be required. Hunting camp is roughly 2 hour drive from Rapid City. All field transportation will be provide with a truck. Outfitter will pick up hunters daily from their accommodations for the hunt.

        Description

        Hunter should be prepared for some colder temperatures, wind and snow if hunting later in the season. Hunter will be expect to do some light hiking in pursuit of big bucks. The landscape provides relatively easy walking, but there are cooleys and drainages that require some steeper climbs and descents. Outfitter will provide field transportation with a truck. Glassing will be done from roads and ridges. All meals and lodging provided for this hunt. Full gear list to be provided when booked.
