The number of birds wintering in the area is simply amazing! Greater Canada Geese are the predominant birds, but the area also winters a number of the lessers as well as thousands of mallards. The property covers a 20 mile stretch along the North Platte River, which is the main roosting area for waterfowl during the cold winter months. With several different ground level pits to choose from located in food sources as well as resting fields that have proven to be outstanding, this will be a hunt to remember. This adventure includes two days of fully guided Canada Goose hunting, warm breakfast in the blinds, a cleaning shed, and a beautiful lodge to stay in. All of the pit blinds are ground level, heated, accommodate up to 7 persons, and provide excellent concealment. Coffee, snacks and drinks included. Decoys provided. Hunter is allowed a daily limit of 5 birds, and may possess up to 3 limits legally. Option to add a third day of hunting for additional price. Additional day must be added on at time of booking.
