Description

The spring turkey hunt in Southeast Kansas is a great time. That time of year the weather is still nice and the turkeys are in their full mode of breeding! There are both Eastern AND Rio Grande species on our hunting land! The outfitter keep the human element/presences in THEIR habitat to a minimum and because of that, every hunter has a prime opportunity to successfully harvest their bird with no other outside hunting pressure. Transportation (To/From Basecamp)

Make sure that your flight arrives between noon and 2p.m. so that we have time to get back and settled in at the lodge. For your departing flights, you will be leaving the day after your last hunt day, so please schedule your flight for a departure time after 11 a.m. For those that are driving to Kansas please arrive at the lodge no later then 5p.m., the same day as the hunters who are flying, and you will also schedule your return home drive on the same day as the flyers depart. If you are flying into Tulsa and you tag out early in your hunt and decide to leave there will be a $200.00 charge for the extra trip to the airport. To avoid this we suggest renting a car.
