A great hunt for a Rocky Mountain Elk on private land in New Mexico. This is a 1:1 fully guided 5 day hunt. Additional days can be added for a daily rate. Landowner voucher is included in the hunt price but hunter will still need to purchase their New Mexico hunting license and elk license. Option to add a mule deer if desired but combo hunts are also available. This is a great opportunity to chase elk during the rut on private and prime elk habitat!

A great opportunity to hunt elk in the rut in September with a guaranteed tag! This is a 1:1 hunt for 5 full hunting days. Hunter has the option to add additional days for a fee (hunt not to exceed 7 days). This hunt takes place on private land in North Central New Mexico. Private ranches are roughly 18,000 acres of great elk habitat. All meals and lodging will be provided. This is a great hunt to chase elk during the rut with a bow!

Moderate to heavy hiking. Can accommodate anyone. For guys that cannot hunt, they can sit on the water and blinds. More physcially able provides better shot opportunity.
Transportation (To/From Basecamp)
Final flight destination is Alamosa, Colorado. Outfitter can pick up and drop off hunters from this airport. Camp is roughly 2 hours from the airport. Hunter may also fly into Taos, Santa Fe, or Albuquerque, New Mexico. If hunter chooses to fly to these airports then they must rent a car and provide their own transportation. Closest city to camp is Costilla, New Mexico.

Hunter can expect warm weather for this hunt. The hunt will take place in September and weather is generally very warm. Mornings and evenings may be cooler. Hunter will hunt each day from the lodge.
