Description

Have an amazing hunt chasing mountain mule deer in Utah on this 5 day, fully guided Mule Deer Hunt! Veteran owned outfit with a passion for hunting and the outdoors. Outfitter guides hunts in the following units: Wasatch, Cache, Nebo, South Slope Yellowstone. Hunter must apply during the draw, but almost 100% draw each year or every other year. Archery, Rifle and Muzzleloader hunts available. Lodging in a wall tent plus Guide, Cooking Amenities, transportation during hunt, field care and pack out included. Hunter will be responsible for food, Deer Tag and Hunting License. Can accommodate up to 6 hunters in a group. Hunter may also select outfitter provided meals if desired for an additional cost.

Hunts are on public land, general season. Mule Deer bucks range from 150" - 180" with the potential of harvesting bucks at 180"+

Weapons description:

Archery allows for early season velvet bucks to late season rutting bucks. Season is 3.5 months long, starting in late August and ending the last day of November.

Rifle hunts are the last 2 weeks of October.

Muzzleloader is last week of September to first week of October.

Terrain is Mild to Intermediate hiking. This outfitter focuses on the adventure, not just the hunt. Hunts are mainly spot and stalk, with the occasional set up on an active water source or feeding grounds.

    Hunters should expect some moderate hiking for this hunt. Terrain can be rocky and steep. Early and mid season hunts may demand more hiking than later seasons. This outfitter can accommodate almost any fitness level.


    Transportation (To/From Basecamp)

    Final flight destination city is Salt Lake City, Utah. Outfitter can arrange for airport pick up and drop off. Transportation to hunting areas from camp are conducted using UTVs/Trucks/ATVs

    Description

    Depending on the time of year (archery vs rifle vs muzzleloader) booked will determine what weather hunters should be prepared for. Hunters should have good layering systems and waterproof/comfortable boots a must. Hunters will want to bring a nice comfortable day pack that will be packed with water, lunch, snacks, some hunting gear, etc. Rain gear is also a recommended item to have inside day pack. Hunters will be responsible for their own food unless selected for outfitter to provide meals for an additional charge. Full gear list to be provided if requested when booked. Weather often changes so the biggest recommendations are comfortable, sturdy and waterproof boots. A set of rain gear, warm clothing to use for layering if needed.
