Description
They have over 300,000 contiguous acres of some of the best free range ranches in Sonora to hunt Mule Deer and Coues Whitetail. all hunts are 6 days. These ranches produce world class trophies fro both species and have some the most unique genetics in all of Mexico!! Due to the coastal location of their ranches, the horns on their deer are very dark and can be almost black. This is caused by the type of desert vegetation that grows close to the Gulf of California. All of their ranches are located within 30 miles of the coast. They have a supplemental feed and watering program on all of their ranches. They currently have 50 different feed and watering locations where they free feed protein and various other supplements along with year round water. If you are looking to hunt free range mule deer that are 190-200″+ then they have the ranches you need to be hunting. These ranches have produced multiple bucks that go 215″+ in the past and each year they continue to have sightings and opportunities at bucks of that caliber. Their management strategy on these ranches is to only harvest older age class deer and maintain a minimum score of 185″ depending on age class. They hunt these deer with a combination of methods that include Spot and stalk, glassing, and high racking. Hunters that choose to come in early December during the pre-rut are able to hunt bucks they have patterned on their feeders and drinkers. These patterned bucks can be hunted with rifle or bow. The rut normally starts around Christmas and goes strong until the end of January. This is a great time to hunt because the deer are constantly moving and a “Muy Grande” can appear at anytime and anywhere. Sometimes they are able to hunt an extended season for the first two weeks of February during the post rut. This is a great time to kill a tired rutted out buck that is hitting one of their feeders.
