Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

Description

A great opportunity to hunt some prime river bottom in South Dakota for big whitetail! This is a 5 day fully guided 2:1 hunt. This hunt can be arranged for either spot and stalk or blind/stand hunting. This ranch is over 6000 acres of prime country and has been managed for large mature bucks. These whitetail have great genetics and hold their mass! This is an exclusive area, only 3-4 hunters taken every year to keep trophy quality high. Option to add additional hunting days or bring a non-hunter companion. Outfitter will supply lodging in the form or a local hotel or a local Air BnB. Outfitter will pick up clients every day to take them to the property to hunt. Meals will also be provided. Don't miss out on this hunt! This is a draw only area, with a 70% chance to draw with zero points. 2 points are a guaranteed draw.

Light hiking will be required for this hunt. This is a spot and stalk hunt. Glassing will be done from different vantage points on the ranch and then plans for a stalk will be made. Hunter can expect 1-3 miles of hiking a day on relatively easy terrain.

Transportation (To/From Basecamp)

Final destination city is Pierre, South Dakota. Outfitter will pick up and drop off clients from local airport. Hunter may also choose to fly to Rapid City, South Dakota but a rental car will be required. Hunting camp is roughly 2 hour drive from Rapid City. All field transportation will be provide with a truck. Outfitter will pick up hunters daily from their accommodations for the hunt.

Description

Hunter should be prepared for some colder temperatures, wind and snow if hunting later in the season. Hunter will be expect to do some light hiking in pursuit of big bucks. The landscape provides relatively easy walking, but there are cooleys and drainages that require some steeper climbs and descents. This hunt can be arranged as either a spot and stalk hunt or with outfitter provided stands and blinds. Outfitter will provide field transportation with a truck. Glassing will be done from roads and ridges. All meals and lodging provided for this hunt. Full gear list to be provided when booked.
