A great opportunity to chase mountain lions in New Mexico on a large private ranch! This ranch has thousands of private acres and a high density of cats. Expert houndsman will take hunters out in a very physically demanding hunt looking for trophy toms. This is a 1:1 fully guided 5 day hunt. All meals and lodging will be provided on this hunt. Option for a non-hunter for an additional charge.

    Refund Policy:

    Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

    Hunter will stay in a clean and comfortable cabin for this hunt. Bedding will be provided. There are several cabins on the property. WIFI is available at the cabins. Cell service is hit or miss.

    Hunter will get homestyle cooked meals for this hunt. Family style dinners at the main lodge will be served every day.

    Lion hunting is very physical and hunter will need to be prepared to hike in some steep country when lion is treed.


    Transportation (To/From Basecamp)

    Final flight destination is Alamosa, Colorado. Outfitter can pick up and drop off hunters from this airport. Camp is roughly 2 hours from the airport. Hunter may also fly into Taos, Santa Fe, or Albuquerque, New Mexico. If hunter chooses to fly to these airports then they must rent a car and provide their own transportation. Closest city to camp is Costilla, New Mexico.

    Description

    Hunter should expect snow and some colder weather for this hunt. Mornings and evenings will be cooler. Hunter should be prepared with a good layering system and thermal base layers. Outfitter will provide field transportation to hunting areas from the cabins. All meals and lodging will be provided. Full gear list to be provided if requested when booked.
