Description
This is a 6 day hunt conducted from heated, elevated stands and ground blinds. Experienced guides scout and select stand locations near feeding area and between bedding and feeding areas. Hunter will be dropped off at the stand in the morning and the key to success is to be patient and ready because you are in an area where a big buck could appear anytime of the day. Hunting bush country is ideal habitat for big bucks. Average shots will be 150 yards and can be out to 300+ yards in more open areas and where shooting lanes have been cleared. Comfortable accommodations and home cooked meals are included. Option for a non-hunter.

Refund Policy:
Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

Outfitter also utilizes heated ground blinds in the same fashion. These stands are typically set up near feeding areas or between feeding and bedding areas to ambush the buck as he follows a hot doe. The secret to taking a big buck is to be in the right area and to remain on your stand and be ready when he shows himself. This outfitter will do their part and put you in the best area possible but the rest is up to you. Put your time in, be quiet and BE READY. These bucks can appear out of nowhere at any time of day. Hunter will be dropped off at the stand in the morning and a guide will spend the day scouting other areas for deer movement and especially looking for sign that a big buck is working an area. If need be, outfitter will move you to a different area. This ensures you are always hunting the best area possible for success. Once a deer is taken it will be cared for by our professional staff. Every effort will me made to ensure your trophy reaches the taxidermist or the dinner table in the best possible condition.

Hunter can expect bush country and a lot of the area is quite overgrown. Rifle shots average around 150 yards. Much of this country was highly developed by logging and oil and gas 30 years ago and has now grown up creating the ideal habitat for big bucks. All of the old logging decks and trails remain and the outfit have opened up shooting lanes near feeding areas and natural funnels thus controlling how far you will need to shoot. Other areas are more open and hunter may have to take a shot out to 300 yards. Hunters should be proficient with shooting and judging distance, a rangefinder is highly recommended.
