Everyone knows everything is bigger in Texas and the wild hog population is no exception! This is an amazing camp with multiple hog hunts to choose from. This ranch holds an overwhelming number of wild hogs (the estimated amount population of hogs in Texas is estimated at an excess of 1.5 million hogs!). Hunting wild hogs in Texas is an affordable hunt. This is a fully guided 3 day hunt including meals, lodging, care of hogs and field transportation. Option to add additional days and to chose your style of hunting. This hunt includes 1 trophy boar and 2 meat hogs. Hunters will have 1000s of acres to hunt!

            Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

            Description

            Hunter will be hunting in rugged pastures, wheat fields, corn feeders and creek bottoms. Hunter will be hunting hogs in Knox and Haskell Counties. Although it is free ranging, you will have ample opportunity to harvest the wild hog. This hunt can be arranged as a thermal hunt, dog hunt, high rack or stand hunt. Prices vary based on the type of hunt desired. All hunts provide meals and lodging with a 1 or 2 day minimum of hunting (depending on style of hunt) with option to add more. Hog hunting is year round. There is no closed season for hunting wild boar in Texas. Hunt them in the morning, all day, the evening, at night, and hunt them by archery, shotgun, pistol, rifle, knife or spear. Texas is a very hunter-friendly state and all that is needed is a 5 day non big game hunting licenses for a non-resident hunter. This hunt can be arranged for a 1 or 2 day hunt. This hunt can accommodate for up to 8-18 hunters at a time (depending on the ranch).

            The lodge is located in the heart of peanut country in north central Texas. Hunters will stay in a clean and comfortable lodge for this hunt.

            Depending on the style hunt, the physical requirements will vary. Dog hunts can demand more physical ability, while high rack or stand hunts require none or very little.


            Transportation (To/From Basecamp)

            Hunter can fly into either Lubbock or Abilene, Texas. Hunter will be responsible to rent a car and get to camp. Field transportation will be provided with trucks to get to hunting areas from the lodge.

            Description

            Hunter will have a blast chasing pigs in an array of hunting styles! Outfitter will provide meals and lodging for every time of hunt. All field transportation will be provided and equipment (except rifles unless thermal hunt is chosen) for each hunt is provided. Depending on the time of year booked and style of hunting will determine what hunting clothing should be packed. Hunters will need to rent a car from the airport and drive to camp. Full gear list to be provided if requested when booked.
