Description

Unit 2 elk hunts are nice hunts in northern New Mexico, with Elk in the 250"-290" range. With this hunt you will see good numbers of animals each season and have good chances of harvesting nice bulls. Most of this area can be accessed with 4x4 trucks, with a mix of glassing and walk hunting and some sitting on water holes and calling. This hunt is hard as you want to make it. This hunt will include a landowner voucher, and is all-inclusive hunting package, with 3 meals a day, and 5 full days of guided hunting.

    Refund Policy:

    Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

    Three meals a day, with cook in camp full time. Warm home cooked meals will ensure no hunter leaves hungry from camp and they have a full stomach before bed each night.

    This hunt is as hard as you want to make it. You can hike big hills and glass if you want, but for the most part you can get about every place you need to with the trucks.

    Hunters will fly into Albuquerque, New Mexico and rent a car to drive to camp.

    Description

    Full gear list will be provided upon booking of the hunt. Temperature can vary daily with cool mornings and warm to hot days. A layering system is recommended to ensure you are prepared for a variety of temperatures that the mountains offer. Extra socks 2-3 pairs per hunting day are also recommended.
