Description

Come experience South Dakota pheasant hunting with our all-inclusive packages. This outfitter has hunt some of the best habitats. They have over 1,200 acres of CRP, food plots, and sloughs with a total 2300 acres to hunt. The pheasants in the early season are flighty and flush well due to higher temps. Late season with a little snow on the ground, birds tend to hold higher and make a great hunting experience with pointers and flushing dogs. The package includes dinner at the lodge and use of amenities. Hunter can also include night predator hunting with provided rifle and ammunition or choose to add quail/chukar hunting season permitting. This is a 3 day 2 night stay/hunt.

Predator Hunt option

If you are looking for a unique and exciting hunt look no further than shooting some predators with IR thermal scopes and AR-15 weapons. With these hunts, outfitter can take up to 4 guys out each night. The most productive method of hunting these critters is by utilizing electronic game calls and custom-made hand calls. This hunt is typically done between 9 PM to 2 AM. Besides calling in coyotes, you may see other predators such as raccoons, badgers, mink, skunk, and opossums. Price is per person.

    If you want to experience a more challenging upland hunt, add a quail/chukar hunt to your hunting getaway. These flighty birds and their unpredictability make it a challenging and fun adventure. Quail hunting season is October 15-January 1. Chukar hunting season is September 21-January 5th. Price is per person.

        Refund Policy:

        Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

This hunt can be arranged for a minimum of 4 with a maximum of 15 hunters.

        Hunters will stay in one of two beautiful lodges for this hunt. Rooms are both bunk-style and private if requested.

        Hunter should be prepared for some light hiking in pursuit of roosters. Ground will be easy to maneuver with some small hills.

        Transportation (To/From Basecamp)

        Final flight destination is Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Hunter will need to rent a car to get to the camp. The camp is roughly 1 hours drive from Sioux Falls. All field transportation will be provided with a truck.

        Description

        Hunter should be prepared for all weather during this hunt. Season for pheasant opens in October and runs into January. In later hunts, hunters can expect snow on the ground. Hunter should be prepared for waterproof hunting boots and all necessary orange for the hunt. Outfitter will supply dogs, but hunters are also able to bring their own if desired. Full gear list to be provided if requested when booked.
