Come hunt the Cowboy State for bull elk on private land leases east of Sheridan in northern Wyoming. THIS HUNT AREA IN REGION EAST ONLY TAKES 2 POINTS TO DRAW THE GENERAL TAG ON THE SPECIAL LICENSE! Here the outfitter offers a 6-day rifle hunt on private land in a unit with very good elk numbers. This unit has produced numerous bulls scoring 300-330 and even better trophies over the years. This is a ranch based hunt and the outfitter uses trucks and ATVs or side-by-sides for transportation as well as trophy and meat recovery. Hunters should be able to hike moderately for best success. Very low hunting pressure due to this unit being mainly private land has produced great elk numbers and the shot opportunity is very high. All meals and lodging provided by the outfitter. The hunt is conducted in a spot-and-stalk style as well as calling, meaning hunters will cover a lot of ground and spend a significant amount of time behind optics to find the right bull. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.
