Description

This hunt is 6 days Fully Outfitted but Unguided. Your hunt includes modern cabin accommodations on the fully accommodated plan, daily maid service, a hearty breakfast, and a family-style dinner, with a self-catered Housekeeping option also available. You'll have a boat, motor, and gas for reaching the baited sites by water and for the fishing days between hunts, which are included at no extra charge. We set up and maintain 30 to 40 baited sites about two weeks before you arrive and check them daily for activity, with hit history available. This is an unguided hunt over those sites, we don't provide guides. After a successful hunt we assist with getting your bear out of the field and back to the lodge. Skinning, quartering, and processing the bear is the hunter's responsibility,

    Refund Policy:

Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

    Description

Hunters pursuing black bear over bait in Ontario should bring comfortable, weather-appropriate camouflage clothing, waterproof boots, and rain gear to handle changing conditions. A quality rifle or bow suited to the hunter’s preference, binoculars, and a rangefinder are recommended. Pack insect repellent, a headlamp, and a small daypack for essentials while sitting in the stand or blind. Layered clothing is important for staying comfortable during long hours waiting for a bear to come into the bait site.
