Description
Experience one of Utah's most popular general season mule deer hunts on the Wasatch East Unit. Known for its healthy deer population and diverse mountain habitat, the Wasatch East provides hunters with excellent opportunities to pursue mature bucks each fall. Our guides spend the summer scouting key areas to locate quality bucks, monitor movement patterns, and identify productive glassing locations before the season opens. Hunting methods include spot-and-stalk, extensive glassing, and covering country on foot to locate bachelor groups and rutting bucks depending on the season. The unit features rugged mountains, aspen forests, oak brush, sage hillsides, and high alpine basins, offering a classic western mule deer hunting experience. This is a fully guided, 1x1 7 day hunt that includes experienced local guides, pre-season scouting, trophy care, and meat retrieval, giving you the best opportunity to make the most of your Utah general season deer tag.

Description
This hunt takes place during Utah's General Season Mule Deer hunt. Hunters should be prepared for cool mornings and evenings with comfortable daytime temperatures, though mountain weather can change quickly. Rain, snow, and freezing temperatures are always possible, so quality rain gear and a versatile layering system are highly recommended. Durable, waterproof hiking boots are essential, as hunters may spend long hours hiking through steep, rocky, and timbered terrain while glassing for mature bucks. Gloves, a warm hat, quality optics, and a comfortable daypack are also recommended. A complete gear list will be provided upon request.
