Description
This is a great opportunity to hunt big Alaska Yukon Moose and caribou in a semi-guided camp! This hunt includes charter flights to and from anchorage. This hunt will be conducted from one of the outfitter's fixed camps-cabin or tents with wood stoves. Outfitter will provide the entire camp and food. Hunters will need to bring their own hunting and personal gear (clothing, sleeping bag, etc.). Normal hunting days start with a hearty breakfast and send hunters with a packed lunch for the day. Hunting often takes place on the lookout right near camp. Some camps hunters will be taken out by ORV to be dropped off in the morning and picked up in the evening. Hunters are expected to help with butchering and hauling animals, trophy care of their own animals, and some camp chores. All hunting during the day is DIY style. Once hunter locates, judge, shoot their game, and field dress the animal, main camp will be contacted and guides with the ORV will be available to help pack out and transport the animal back to camp. Minimum of 2 hunters and maximum of 4. Only 1 hunt is conducted each year.

You will be hunting Yukon Alaska Moose. You can expect to shoot a 50"-65" inch bull with the possibility of a 70". Caribou are generally 330"-370". ALL HUNTERS WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR FIELD JUDGING THEIR OWN ANIMALS AND MUST BE FAMILIAR WITH SIZE RESTRICTIONS IN THE AREA. *AVAILABLE FOR 2025 Hunters can pick dates: Sept 2-12 or Sept 8-19
Minimum of a .300 caliber for this hunt.

Refund Policy:
Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

Food will be supplied by the outfitter. Outfitter and guides will go through all supplies before hunters start their float trip. Food is the same as outfitter uses on their guided hunts Back-country style food.

Hunters will need to be in fair enough condition to pack your moose or caribou from the location of harvest and deliver to the runway on the day of pick up. This is not a hunt for the weak of heart, but if hunters are willing to put the work in, they will have good shot opportunity.
Transportation (To/From Basecamp)
Final flight destination city is Anchorage, Alaska. All charters from Anchorage are included in the hunt price in/out of camp including game. Field transportation if required will be provided in some camps by way of ORV.

Description
The weather can change quickly in Alaska this time of year. Hunters physical efforts can change quickly as well. Being prepared with a layering system that can be adjusted to the current situation is imperative. Weather can fluctuate from 60 degrees F to 0 degrees F during this hunt.
