The price listed is for AZ Fully Outfitted Strip (12A &12B) Mule Deer Hunt, 7 days. This is for Draw hunters who are looking for a guide. This is a great service for anyone who drew their trophy Arizona mule deer tag! This hunt price includes 1:1 fully guided 7-day hunt. Option for a non-hunter and to add additional hunting days. Outfitter knows these units and will be able to bring expert guiding to the hunt of your dreams chasing big bucks. Dates for the hunt will be arranged depending on the season dates of the tag drawn. Let us help you apply! 12A and 12B are highly productive units for trophy mule deer and typically take anywhere from 9 - 20+ points to draw depending on your weapon choice, unit specification, and season dates. Season dates are as follows - Archery season: mid-August to early September, Muzzleloader: early November to mid-November, and Rifle: mid-October to late October and mid-November to end of November. 12B is either valid for the entire unit or the western portion of the unit only and must be specified on the application. 12A can be valid for either the western or eastern portion of the unit. Hunts do not include your tag and license. The application period for deer typically opens early May and closes second Tuesday in June each year.

Archery season: mid-August to early September (9+ points, 12A east and west & 12B)

Muzzleloader: early November to mid-November (better odds with 14+ points 12A east) (better odds with 17+ points 12B)

Rifle: mid-October to late October and mid-November to end of November (October dates 12A east: 17+ points) (November dates 12A east: 23+ points) (October dates 12A west: 15+ points) (November dates 12A west: 24+ points) (November dates 12B west only: 23+ points) (October dates 12B whole unit: better odds with 18+ points) (November dates 12B whole unit: better odds with 21+ points) (October dates 12B west only: 14+ points)

          We also offer a 7 day "Guide Only" option or a "Scouting Package" only as well for Mule Deer on the Strip in Arizona. Extra Day's and Extra Spotters can be arranged with the outfitter. Hunts do not include your tag and license. Additional spotters can be arranged for a 350.00 per spotter, per day charge. Hunts do not include your tag and license. An annual license is required to apply (appx. $160) or purchase a bonus point only. The annual license is nonrefundable if not drawn. The cost to apply or to purchase a point only is about $15, and if you are drawn the remaining license fees for the deer tag are paid (appx. $315). If you are applying for the draw, an additional $10 - $25 fee for "PointGuard" is expected for purchase. PointGuard ensures your points are preserved should you be drawn and have to return your tag for any reason. This is recommended!

          Refund Policy:

          Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.


          No other experience can prepare you for what you'll see on a daily basis while hunting the vast landscape of the Arizona Strip. Be sure to bring your camera to help remember this experience for the rest of your life!

          Wall tents or trailers will be where food is cooked. You can expect quality meals at the end of a long day of glassing for trophy mule deer. Homestyle cooking-meat and potatoes. Fresh foods will be served.

          Transportation (To/From Basecamp)

          Most people who don't drive will elect to fly into Las Vegas International airport where they'll rent a car and travel to St. George, UT which is where they'll meet their guide. Depending on the outfitter you may also fly into Phoenix, AZ and meet the guide there.

          Depending on the season selected, hunter should pack and prepare according to the time of year. Layering system and durable hiking boots are a must. Your guides will bring all the experience you need to find a trophy animal on your trophy hunt. Outfitter will supply food and lodging (tent) or hunter may choose to provide their own and only pay the daily guide rate. Full gear list to be provided when booked.
